Equestrian Center offers
After School Classes
and Western
style riding in group or
private lessons for beginning to advanced riders. If you are
unsure if you want to take a full session of riding lessons,
Orientation Class
are available. Please note: Orientation classes are NOT
required before signing up for group lessons.
Capricorn Equestrian
Center is a school of horsemanship, striving to teach the total
concept of the horse. Grooming and tacking are taught in order
to help the student become proficient on the ground as well as in
the saddle. Ground lessons, including instructional tapes
and/or charts may be taught by the instructor whenever it is
necessary to achieve better understanding of a particular concept or
riding style.
Group lessons are
taught in a series of five-week sessions, meeting once a week for
one hour and are usually made up of five to ten students. The
fee is $120.00 per 5-week session. Private lessons are

Your child’s education doesn’t have to end when the
school bell rings. Capricorn offers the following classes
for children ages 6 and up. These classes teach children
safety around horses and introduce them to the fundamentals
of western riding. |

Class

Capricorn Equestrian offers orientation classes to give you
a sneak preview of what to expect from lessons and from horses.
Please
note: Orientation classes are NOT required before signing
up for group lessons.
These classes are $40
per person and include a short ground lesson and 30-45 minute
ride. If after the class, you decide to sign up for a 5-week
session, then you will only pay $85.
Orientation classes are
limited to 5 students. Attendees will be asked to complete a waiver.
Reservations are
required. Call (972) 530-1124 to
schedule Monday-Saturday. Sunday orientations can be scheduled
by emailing info@capricornhorse.com.
In the event of rain,
Orientation classes will be postponed.

If you wish to sign up, you
can register by printing off the available form and sending it with
the waiver and your payment to the address below.
Or you may email us to
reserve your place and bring the payment and waiver to your
orientation class. We request that you give us 48 hours notice
if you will be unable to attend. Payment is expected at time of
lesson or will be billed if cancellation notice is not
received. Please contact us if you have any questions.
